
| 1) Elections-- After becoming informed, I will vote in every election for which I am eligible. 2) Volunteer-- I will volunteer for at least one community project, such as (but not limited to) school programs, rescue squad, planning board, coaching, scouts, friends of the library, crime watch, or a community garden. 3) Governance --I will attend at least one meeting of the city council each year. 4) Downtown -- I will support local merchants. 5) Dialogue -- When I have a criticism of the way things are run or hear a rumor I will take my concerns to the source. 6) Differences -- I will recognize people's commonalities and appreciate our differences, especially in times of stress and discord. I won't use our differences as a dividing line. 7) Responsibility -- I will look after my neighborhood and my neighbors. I will become involved if I see a problem, from a pothole to a crime. 8) Neighbors -- I will get to know my neighbors and introduce myself to others. 9) Promotion -- I will talk up the good things about my community. 10) University of Orange -- I understand that as a student in the University of Orange, the future is in my hands. I understand and am willing to abide by the above guidelines. I understand that to graduate each year I must complete 6 core courses: Vote, Volunteer, Fun with your Neighbors, Attend a City Meeting, and 2 additional U of O courses of my choice.
